another week gone by

stepping on the scale this morning was somewhat pleasant. but, not as exciting as last week. i really thought i lost so much more weight. but i was wrong. but, when i taped myself, i got the shock of a lifetime. contrary to the weight lost, my inches lost this week are unreal. for me anyway. gives me the excitement to make it through another week. woohoo, go me go me....lol. this week, i have stepped up my exercise a little too. i am still doing the workouts every other day, but i have also, when watching tv at night, been doing some crunches and leg abductions and inductions. i know that those are the main areas that i need major help in, so they are the main sections i'm focusing on for extra toning. i do have to say, that i went to the bar on wed. there was a guy there that i hadn't seen in about 2 months. the last time i seen him, he literally told me i looked like crap, and i was fat, etc. on wed when i seen him, he was like dang girl, your looking good. i don't think he recognized me, because i told him it was funny that last time he seen me i was fat and nasty and now i looked good. i walked away from him, feeling quite pleased with myself. a little later he came up to me and apologized for saying the stuff last time. that, in itself, made this whole diet thing worth while. i like to "in your face" to people who think they are so much better than you because you are overweight. the owner of the bar asked me why i was dieting, he said i looked good just the way i was. i told him it was because i hated the compliment of "you look good.....for having 4 kids". i want to be told that i look good, period. anyway, down to the nitty gritty of my measurements.....lol
