Hello, I just wanted to both introduce myself and ask a question that has been plaguing me for some time now. I'm 31 and struggling to lose some extra pounds. Recently (for the past 2 to 3 months) I have placed myself on a cereal diet. I limit myself to one bowl in the morning every other day and eat 2 bowls of cereal for the other days. Is this unhealthy? I have noticed that I am able to stick to it for about 3 days, but then I develop a ferocious appetite and wind up eating everything in site. After this I'll feel horrible and starve myself the following day to make up for everything I consumed the day before. I realize this part is unhealthy, though I am wondering about the cereal diet itself. Is it a question of my own willpower that I am not able to stick to it long term, or is it just not an appropriate diet?
