My boyfriend tries to help, but he can eat just about everything because he has the metabolism of an Olympic athelete. I am sure I am not the only one... even when I think about a Krispy Kreme donut I gain two pounds. I just need some advice on as what to do to keep motived to improve myself. Not but two years ago I was twenty pounds lighter and a lot happier. I would greatly appreciate any words of encouragement or advice
HI,
One thing that I do when I have a hard time motivating myself is think about what I really want and do what I have to do to get it. Stay focused on your goal. Think about where you want to be and make your decisions based on what you would decide if you were already at your goal.
You didn't say if you were exercising or not. This would help out a lot. If you were able to do some weight training with some cardio you would see results quickly. Exercise is a big motivator for me.
Your friends might be able to eat the fast food but they are hurting themselves even if the scale is not moving up. Setting themselves up for heart problems.
Everyones body accepts food differently. You stated that if you even think of the food you gain weight...don't have those foods.
Best of luck to you,
xmasbabe
