if what you're doing -- dieting and exercising -- doesn't work after a while, check out other stuff here or elsewhere. But I'm sure diet and exercise will work. Keep trying and I suspect that, at most, you may have to refine or modify your diet a bit. Sometimes it does take a while for weight loss to show up on the scale but in the long run you CAN be the weight you want to be -- it's just a matter of doing certain things and you are capable of doing them. Weight-loss is one of the sure things, if you do the right stuff, unlike so many other things. You CAN be the weight you want to be

If cravings for the wrong food or too much of it ever attack, you might try the South Beach diet -- I found it helped my cravings very much; now I mostly am just aware that I'm a bit of a carbohydrate/sweet food junke, and try limit my apples, etc. Which is what the South Beach diet is about; at the end of it you eat what you want, with an awareness of what can send you into a tailspin of eating the wrong stuff.
