Hi, I just joined this group for the exact reason that you are posting; I have a 9 month old baby and 5 lbs. of extra weight on me. I have had 5 lbs. left to lose for many months now, and I have decided that I can't do it alone. I lost 20 lbs after my baby was born, then another 10 in the 4 months following that just by going back to work and not eating like I was pregnant. This 5 lbs will not go away, however, and I still can't wear most of my pants.

I will say that other than this 5 extra lbs and post-breastfeeding-breasts, my body is the same. I did a Pilates video to get my abdomen back in shape (Melinda Bryan, awesome), and now I am the same as I was before. I don't believe that we can't recover completely, except for maybe our breasts. But, these 5 lbs. covering my old self are not flattering.

I finally decided yesterday that whatever I am doing is not working, and I need a diet plan. I spent $27 for access to weightloss 4 idiots, and I'm trying their diet. Have you all seen that diet advertised all over the place? It's basicly a menu generator that asks you what you will eat, and based on that it spits out an 11 day menu with 4 meals per day. The meals seem healthy and include all types of foods, unless you choose the vegetarian option, and there is no complicated cooking or preparation involved. It's just like Weight Watchers, or any other kind of diet plan, because the idea is to follow all the rules and eat what they say to eat. I need this now because I've had trouble figuring out how to lose weight since I turned 30, and now that I'm 32 and have post-baby pounds, I need rules to follow.

Has anyone else considered trying a diet plan that they've never tried before?
