My diet milkshake recipe

Hello all,

I am pretty new here, so just a little about myself before I share my very simple recipe. I have been trying to lose weight forever, but I could never stick to any diets for long enough to let it do any good for me, because, well, I don't have much will power. I am also a terrible chocolate fiend, and most "diet" chocolate tastes like cardboard. I forced myself to stay on Herbalife and lost 35 pounds on that program. But, like everything else I had tried, the taste of the shakes was so yucky that I just couldn't stick to it long term. I didn't mind the thought of drinking one or possibly two meals a day though. In fact, since I hate doing a lot of cooking early in the morning, I actually liked the idea of a quick and easy shake for breakfast. Anyway, I tried a bunch of different kinds of diet shakes over the past several years, and I just couldn't find anything that I liked the taste of. I had all but given up on it until Weight Watchers just recently came out with these wonderful little single serving size ice creams (and in my favorite flavor!). When I saw them, I decided to try making my own diet shake. Here's my recipe.....

1 cup of 1% milk ( I hate non fat milk)
1 serving of powdered, non thickening, tasteless fiber supplement ( 2 tsp.)
1 serving of cocoa powder ( whatever you would normally use to make chocolate milk)
1 single serving of weight watchers ice cream.

Naturally, you would have to change the recipe a bit if you are using a different flavor of the ice cream. The total calories for this is about 320, with a whopping 15 grams of protein, and 10 grams of fiber. Pop all the ingredients in your blender for a minute or so, and it's delicious! No funky after taste either. For me, it tastes like regular chocolate milk, with the added bonus of all that protein and fiber, which is more than enough to keep me from being hungry until lunch time.
