Hmmmm........
I suppose you can use any kind of powder you want too in order to flavor the milk, but part of the extra fiber comes from the weight watchers ice cream. The ice cream all by itself has 7 grams of fiber and 5 grams of protein. I know for sure that they have chocolate, mint chocolate, and a third flavor, but I don't remember what the third flavor is. If it's vanilla, then you could definitely use that without worrying about your reflux problem. The ice cream should also be readily available at any big grocery store in your area. Today was the very first day that I tried out my recipe, and it kept me full for 3 hours. After those 3 hours, I had a tiny piece of candy to take the edge of my hunger, and half an hour later I had a small lunch. Tonight, I'll have a healthy dinner, and hope that this new regimen will finally do the trick for me. One thing is for sure. If I keep drinking my homemade shakes in the morning, and having light lunches, then I won't have to worry about it so much when I want to have something "extra" for dinner a couple of times a week. I have found that the Lean Cuisine chicken club panini is absolutely delicious for lunch, and it's only 350 calories.
