Alright here's my take on it.
Taking anything directly out of your diet is usually not good for your body. Also not eating breakfast is very important along with eating regularly throughout the day.
What I suggest is:
1. Keep going to the gym, exercising, lifting weights whatever you're doing
2. Eat balanced meals (this includes breakfast)
3. Drink plenty of water
4. Break your 2 big meals up into about 4 or 5 smaller meals, this will keep you metabolism working throughout the day.
5. Don't cheat!
