I would agree that losing weight is definitely, largely a state of mind. In the past I have lost weight successfully - only when my brain was "re-conditioned". I found a good way to do this was to have a support person or group to help and encourage you. Its a lot easier if you surround yourself with those who have the same goal as you. Although, this time around, all the brain `re-conditioning' I needed came from my clothes being too tight (and my larger image in the mirror)! Also I was not wanting to spend lots of $$$ on a new wardrobe.
