Hi Stuart

If you give me your height as well as your weight and your "type" - pear shaped (carry weight on hips), apple shaped (carry weight on upper body - ie, beer bellies!) or proportionate (carry weight throughout body) then i will be able to give you your resting metabolic rate - ie, how many calories you need to consume just so your body can function. I can then help you figure out how active you are and from there we can work out a daily requirement that is personal to you. I will also be able to recommend your personal protein requirements as well if that is any help.
