Kay - keep it up. It's hard - Lord knows I know. I won't buy junk food, but I work second shift about three days a week. It never fails that I come home and my husband (a wonderful, supportive guy) has done the shopping - and he buys the worst snacks. He thinks he's being nice to me by getting ice cream, cookies, and fast-oven pizza, but you and I both know how hard this makes things for me.

Look at it this way: Try to quit buying the crisps. The best ever replacement snack I ever discovered is Jiffy Healthy Pop 94% Fat Free popcorn. It's lo-cal, lo-fat, and very high in fiber to make you feel full. You can guiltlessly enjoy the entire bag all by yourself! As for your slow results, I'm sure Jeeplaw will back me up and agree that slower is, in the long run, better. You're less likely to rebound. And - if ever in doubt about how successful you've been thus far - do this: Go to the store and weigh 4 lbs of apples, 4lbs of chicken, or 4lbs of anything. 4lbs is a LOT!!!

Keep it up, girl!

Sarah
