I agree..many times these pills try to speed up the metabolism, and usually if you are overweight in the first place, the effects of chemically speeding up your metabolism isn't very good for an already stressed out system. That's why many found complications with ephedra based products (and then there was Phen Phen..but that's a whole different story...)
