Bad news is that it's impossible to lose weight just from just one area and most people have a pattern that they hang onto the stubborn fat the longest. But if you lose weight all over it will eventually go from the stubborn areas too. In my experience it's only once the fat goes that you can see the full results of all your hard work in the gym - even the most toned muscles will hide under wobbly bits of fat, unfortunately.
Still worth toning because muscle tissue helps burn calories even when resting and you'll be firm and slim at the end of your weight loss program and not just slim and untoned.
