I totally agree with the moderator that often people who imagine themselves to being overweight because of a poor self-image resort to extremes. There has to exist a balance of the right amount and combination of a daily diet, exercise, conviction, and realistic goals for a day, week, and month; keeping goals will help to motivate to make you want to stick to your overall weight loss plan. One must build the inner confidence to lose weight--if you are truly overweight--not to please others, but to feel good about oneself.
