Losing muscle

Okay, I currently need to gain a little weight.. I have been going to the gym everyday and watching what I eat. Generaly I am a very healthy, active person, but I need to put on a few pounds to get to my healthy weight. I was wondering if anyone knew, what would happine to the muscle I have gained during my workouts. I think I have gained about three or four pounds of muscle, mostly on my legs. If I stop going to the gym, daily, and continue to watch what I eat, what will happine to the muscle. Will it just soften, or will it become fat?!.. And will it look unattractive if I stop working out?
Iv trying to find the answer on fitness sites but cant seem to, without signing up..
Thanks, hope someone knows the answer to my question

Answer.

If you stop going to the gym you will just lose the muscle you gained. It wont turn to fat for quite some time if your still active. They have weight gainer supplements at GNC and such stores that are for gaining weight. I dont know if this would help you or not?
