Changing The Lifestyle (Need healthy food idea's too)

Ok im about 15 kilos overweight. I have been overweight for 10 years. Im 21 years old i have always been a little bit overweight, i just cant seem to do it,

My normal diet: no brekky, large quater pounder meal, 2 cheesburger and ice cream (massive lunch im normally starving) chocolate and coke as snack, take out pizza for tea, followed by ice creams.

Now i have decided to change my lifestyle no more horrid eating but IT SEEMS EVERYTHING STANDS IN THE WAY.

I have very little money, junk food is so cheap and so good, combind with cravings healthy food just never gets a look in, im addicted to coke na dhave been for a very long time, maybe 10 years also, i dont want too give up coke and when im trying to give up food i like and coke it just makes me to miserable and always fail which makes me more miserable

I drink coke zero though, this leads to my next problem the 2-3 litres of coke a day i have dehydrates me and takes up the time i should be drinking water.

I spend alot of time sitting on a computor shitloads of time, and you guessed no gym emmbership, no chance of affording one, so im summarise my problems

PROBLEMS
-addicted to coke, and Mcdonalds (i have it everyday)
-Little or no excercise i go for a walk sometimes but lately been puffing in that too
- about 15 kilos to lose... i know it should be more but im technically only overweight
-addicted to the internet , yeh i pretty much just waste my life away on it, and i get no excercise cos im always on it.
- no money, parents also have little money so..... eat the KFC thats brought home for you or starve........ and theres no chance of me resisting KFC after i have veen starving
- NO HEALTHY SNACK IDEAS: i tryed to get a healthy snack once i walked round for
20 mins and couldnt find anything i wanted in a supermarket

i like subway, i like chicken and lettuce sandwitches, i like nuts (but the fatty kind), i hate all vegtables besides carrots, apples, bannas. mandarin's are ok, grapes are ok, i can eate some sortof of yougurts, i love meat, and chickem. and bread (once again white only)

But yeh i dont know what to do when im trying to change my lifestyle i walk round aimless thinking what the fuck can i actually eat...... so ideas please........

Ive also trying to change my bodyclock instead of being caffeine riddled and up all night im trying to go to bed early and get up and go for a walk in the morning

(i did this yesterday, got sunburt, saw, and had cravings all day afterwards, i was also very bored for being up so early... and oh yeh when im bored i eat for the dsake of it too.... and i dont eat fruit lol)

Im not hugely overweight, i can run, i can lift ok, i can do maybe 20 pushups.

But i am overweight enough to depress, no one is there to help me, no one to encourage me and its really sucks i never have any money and em bored alot too. I have many many many problems with my eating and when i try to change it all (especially coke) it just doesnt work,

i get moody to, and very unhappy when changing these things wrong with my life.

for eg: there is no coke or chocolate now, ive barly had any coke today, and im bored, and im pissed off, and i feel i cannoy do homework, play guitar or function at all in a proper way until i get coke.

It is my number one priority and since i cant get coke till tommorow il sit here wasting time on the internet and thinking about how much i want it,. instead i shoudl be doing homework

Ah Tipsy, how are you today?

You don't suck at all! You're a very entertaining writer and a really nice guy.

Here's my advice, for what it's worth.

Change only a few things at a time. As you've found, if you try to do too much at once it takes over your whole life and becomes overwhelming.

The thing you worry about the most is the thing I would put last. The coke. Okay, it's not great for you, but at zero calories it isn't adding to your weight problem and it gives you a little lift and something to do with your mouth. We all need a few "free foods" when we're trying to lose. I allow myself all the diet coke and popcorn I want and I still lose. yes there's sodium that causes us to hold a few extra pounds in water but I'm trying to lose fat, not water. The only thing I would change there is, if your coke zero has caffiene, I would switch to caffiene-free after about 3 in the afternoon so that it wouldn't keep me up too late.

In 2005 I lost about 60 pounds by making two changes. I gave up all sweets and I walked 2-3 miles per day. You could do that!

You could give up the candy bars and ice-cream while still having the KFC and Quarter pounders.

Don't feel that you have to be a perfect salad eater all day everyday -- all you have to do to lose weight is consume a few less calories than you usually do.

I understand all too well about the high cost of gyms. I just won't pay it! But I do think that exercise is the key to changing your life. A walk or jog in the morning would set your whole day in the right direction. You would be less likely to go completely wild with the eating, knowing that you had put in that morning effort. You would get to bed a little earlier, knowing that you were going to have to get up and run the next day.

I know you can do this! You're too young to be dissatisfied with the way you look; home all the time on the PC. Get out there and go for it!

Smile I Feel Your Pain - I'm Also A Junk Food Addict

I am a junk food junkie too girl. I think the walking idea is awesome Adele. I also snack on bad foods and I snack constantly. It's terrible. Also I understand the healty food not getting a look in because frankly my fridge is full of coke too. I also have infertility issues so I have GOT to lose weight. I am thinking cutting out sugar, because I'm addicted so bad, and walking for atleast an hour a day should do something.
