Don't Self Talk With Your Mouth Full

I believe changing how we think while we eat is critical to losing weight healthily. I also believe that we have developed an emotional attachment to food and that until we learn to be objective about what we are eating we cannot make good common sense decisions. this philosophy is part of the common sense strategy I used to lose weight and keep it off.
It is based on two simple principles, we need to concentrate on what we are eating and we need to distract ourselves from hearing self talk, positive and negative self talk both make eating an emotional experience. taking an objective approach to eating means thinking about food from an academic point of view rather than an emotional one. a simple example is while eating an apple research interesting facts about apples not good for you, or bad for you, facts, just interesting academic facts, you cannot think of two things at once so you cannot hear self talk. try it, we also have an online group to help each other learn to shutup and eat. and not self talk with our mouths full.
I know it sounds simple common sense and you are right it is but it works because detaching ourselves emotionally from food is the key to healthy choices
visit my free website to learn more about this philosophy and yes it is free easy and simple common sense. no joining fee or free trials. you can read it all for free and start practising the simple exercise that really can change how you think about food, try my common sense approach to how you feel about food before you start on a healthy diet. what have you got to lose ?
