Hello everybody.
I'm not sure if this place is active or not, but I thought that I would introduce myself. My name is Sarah, and I'm trying to lose some weight but I keep screwing up my diet. I thought maybe that this would be a good place to come for some "support" (I need somebody to tell me to stop eating too much!)
Anybody out there?

Just browsing when I caught your site.
I lost 31 pounds on Weight Watchers. I'm very busy and didn't have time for meetings (which are highly recommended) and I still was able to discipline myself. My wife and family helped a lot. I think I would have lost it faster if I had time for meetings.

PS - Hope the traffic picks up. I'd ask the team to put a link to our site but we acept no advertising or affiliation whatsoever. We're extremely independent. Nice forum all.

Oops just realized. Didn't want to mislead anyone. Our site is not weight loss related. I'm a political commentator. Sorry. You're welcome anyway.

Hi, I thought this looked like a good place to get help. and a good place to introduce myself. I hope! :P
I'm dieting as my new years resolution, for about the fourtieth time, depressingly, and that's why I'm joining this forum, I'm trying to keep motivation, I want this to be the last time I diet, and I'm even going to ask help from my doctor, I hope she's helpful, they usually aren't in my experiance.
My name is Lucy and I'm 28, I want to lose weight because I want to have a breast reduction operation, and I want to be healthy, I'm hoping that the breast reduction will be a good motivation, but I thought joining a forum and getting mutual help and support would also help.
I'm also rubbish at the meals, when I go to places like weight watchers the meals are always calculated for a couple or a family rather then a single person, and I'm obviously a single person, and they say divide the ingredients by... well you know, am I the only person totally irritated by these things?
Plus I'm also rubbish at trying to come up with recipes, I'm an unimaginitve cook, I can cook, I'm just rubbish at trying to experiment, with the limited ingredients you get on a diet, and the diet books always have ingredients in their recipes that I don't know, because I live in a town near nottingham I can't get the kind of ingredients you can get in London, I don't know who half these people think the average dieter is, I'm single so I work, and I'm on minimum wage so the money I spend on food is substantially less then a couple would spend. so if anybody has any suggestions on recipes for a single notts woman I would seriously appreciate it.
anyway, enough of my rant, what does anybody...ANYBODY else think.
