Help with diet plan..

Hey.. Im writing in here to ask for help from anyone who can supply it...
I'm looking for a diet that would suit me however having never dieted before i dont really have any idea what sort of diet i should be on.. Heres some info about what im looking to acheave any help would be great..

I'm looking to loose as MUCH body fat as possible.. However i also need to keep my body muscle up as im looking for a build which will give me maxamum muscle and strength without weighing me down with extra weight..

I'm looking to loose the weight as i am a amature Brazillian Jujitsu contender aswell as a amature Mixed Martial Arts fighter.. I need to loose this weight to help me get down to my ideal weight class..

I have been told that supliments are a great way of doing what im looking to acheave however i have been advised by many people that they are extreemly bad for your body..

I train around 30minutes on a punch bag everynight and around 5mins of situps pushups etc.. I train grappling and fitness etc for 6hours a week and rugby for aprox 2hours however the weight refuses to come off me and i am entirely sure this is down to my diet.

So my question/s are.. What diet is the best to optimaise fat loss and maxamise muscle build? Are suppliments bad for you? Thanx for your time its greatly apreaciated.

Alright, after reading it sounds like you're putting in a great amount of time into some type of workout.

So I think you're on the money with thinking that your diet needs to change. Because you're doing some type of exercise for a good amount of time throughout the week, you don't need to change any of that.

There is no set diet that will do what you're looking for because this kind of diet needs to balance the fat loss with muscle gain, which depends on the person, so you need figure out a diet that works for you.

The first thing you need to do is cut out all the junk food! Second thing is no snacking whenever your bored or just sitting around.

Supplements aren't always bad. Just depends on which ones and what kinds.

Those are some tips to losing the weight and keeping the muscle to get that cut look

If you can provide us with some more information (how much you want to lose, what time span, which supplements you're looking at etc..) then I might be able to give more input.

Not about dieting...about changing the way you live!

About three years ago I drastically changed my diet. After watching a family member battle obesity with every diet and weightloss plan, I finally saw her make a difference in her life through eating natural foods and engineered proteins.

Personally, I was not extremely over weight, but needed to get into better shape. Through the lifestyle change, my body weight dropped over 40 pounds (from 220 to 180), and my lean muscle mass sky-rocketed. At 6'2 I was in my ideal body weight!

Recently I have put my personal eating schedules and diet on line.

Check out my link in my signature.

Give this a try for 30 days...you will feel like a new person! You will lose weight fast, gain more energy and not loss any muscle mass.

I promise this because I live by this diet routine every day of my life.

The Zone works for us

Hi,

I highly recommend the Zone Diet. I lost 100 pounds with it 13 years ago and have kept it off. My whole family eats this way now. It's tailored to suit the needs of anyone from a couch potato to an Olympic athlete. My husband is a marathon runner and does great on the Zone Diet. It's easy, it works , and you're never hungry!

Atkins / Zone

Yes I agree, I used to do Atkins diet, and while it is a little hard to stay on track sometimes; its a good way to lose weight fast. Keeping it off is another story!

Different!

Hi, the Zone and Atkins are two very different things! The Zone's a balanced diet with moderate amounts of protein, carb and fat. It's not high in protien and saturated fat as Atkins.

I recommend you simply use common sense when eating an put a lot of effort into exercise. I have taken this approach along with one of the natural fat binder pills and am already halfway on the way to my goals, hitting the gym so often is hard but worth it as I am getting fitter as well as loosing weight.
