My name is Deb and I have been overweight most of my adult life. I need help. I am a food adict and I do not know how to control my eating. I am hoping by joining this forum I will be able to learn from others like me their weight loss secrets. Both my parents are obese and so am I. Please help.
They say the first step is acknowledging the problem & it seems that this is what you are doing, which is good.

Thank you for you encouragment. Day one of my new way of eating is is complete. Now Day 2. I am treating my eating probloms like a disease, so I'm taking it one day at a time.
We will get in control. I think that is one of the hardest and most discouraging things about the constant struggles of weight loss. We are strong idenpendent women, and yet we struggle with this. It will happen, with more laughs than tears.
