Hi I am new

Hi, just joined up here. I am a 39 year old female who has, yes you guessed it! Yo-yo dieting should be my middle name! The older you get the harder it is,this is true. I am 5 foot one, so any little amount of too much of something and its right to my thighs and derriere!

I would really like to get on a diet that I can live with my whole life...I absolutely hate bad food. I love to cook and eat. Diet foods are often so blah, I can't finish eating it so I will make a huge lasagna with fresh basil and eat too much.

My problem is I plateau ALOT!! My weight will just stop coming off...and I mean for like 6 weeks and its really frustrating so I quit the diet and go eat pizza. Then I feel guilty and eat more bad stuff...and then I will keep seeing thin girls everywhere I go and it gets me motivated again! It seems what works for me is a 1500 calorie a day diet split up into 5 or 6 meals. Exercise is 30 minutes of something everyday.I feel as if i have had enough to eat with 1500. And it has to come off slow because a 1200 cal. diet is pure torture for me...dizzy and light headed with no energy...how are you supposed to burn fat like that?

My husband is one of those who could sit there for monthes and eat triple whoppers with cheese and remain solid muscle...I think hes an alien.
