Just wondering, I weigh about 310lbs, getting ready to start my diet in the upcoming week I am going to try and trim down to around 275 as my first goal, I have read that you should take in approximately 1 gram of protein for every pound of body weight to support muscle mass. But does this mean that I should be shooting for 310 grams or more towards the 275 grams, I do a lot of weight lifting but I have never really monitored my protein intake or anything like that. Just wondering because if I'm going to diet and continue with the weight lifting I might as well do it right!!!!!!!!! any insight would be helpful
