I'd love a diet buddy
Hi,
I'd like to lose 20 pounds, 25 would be great. I'm currently 5'6 and 160lbs.
I'm 35, and have been exercising regularly for the past 3 years, but I don't stick to a healthy diet, and my fitness routine has become too predictable, and therefore, ineffective.
I'm planning on cutting back on carbs (not totally), sugar, and eat a more "clean" diet. I don't want to "diet", as in deprive myself, but I need to make a big change, because I'm not happy with my body. I'm not working hard enough, and I'd love to be happy in a bathing suit by next March.
I can't seem to control myself when it comes to desserts. I know I overeat, and then feel embarassed. I also get cravings around my period, which is always a slippery slope for me. I know my weaknesses, and would like the support of others. It doesn't work with my husband, who knows better than to tell a premenstrual woman to step away from the cake.
I also do not want to give up my nightly glass of wine, that's just not realistic for me. Dessert I can handle getting rid of. Wine...not.
