I just turned 20 years old, I am not as overweight as some....but I am overweight. I am about 20 lbs overweight and would love to loss weight, but it is hard. I live with roommates in an apartment, and when it comes to eating it is hard to cook dinner for one person. So eating frozen foods is how I will go about dinner. Lunch is the same and breakfst is a bowl of cereal or a poptart.....I will go on walks once and awhile but it is just so hard for me.....One day I will be so into getting fit and the next day I will see my roommate sitting watching tv eating ice cream, and I don't want to do that anymore. If anyone could give me advice, maybe some suggestions of cheap healthy recipes, that are easy for one person to cook And fun and cheap exercise activies too!! Thanks

You just have to become strong minded. If you're the one preparing dinner then you can still prepare your share of dinner dietetically. You must be able to bear seeing other people eat normally and not crave to do the same, because even if you finally lost some weight but kept those habits you would still gain weight again and have to start over from the beginning. There's nothing bad in eating an ice cream. But if you know you've eaten more calories than you should then do a little more exercise to burn that excess calories. Maybe you should start telling your room mates they are getting fatter and fatter and get everyone on the diet plan LOL. Otherwise, why don't you all go out and practice a sport that is fun? Or you could take a dancing or aerobic or martial art course on your own, then it would be an obligation that you won't be able to skip. You just need discipline. Its no big deal!
