I've been working on losing weight for the past two weeks...

Hey, I'm a sixteen-year-old kid that's been working on losing some weight for a few weeks now. I weighed in around the 180's (I'm 5'11", so that's getting up there) but I dieted for weeks and have stayed at nearly exactly the same weight.

I'm wondering if I'm gaining muscle mass and burning fat, or I'm not dieting well enough. I've been drinking water instead of Powerade and have been eating salads and Subway meals for lunch and dinner, although on rare occassion I'll drink a soda or eat some candy on the weekends. But my diet has been really cut down, and I've exercised every day since then. It's possible that I'm gaining muscle from working out (I go bowling for four to six hours a week with a fifteen pound ball; I know the owner, so me and my friends usually have our own lanes and we can get hundreds of frames done a week.) I also do push-ups, sit-ups, and curls at night.

If I continue working like this, will there be better results?

Much thanks.

I have found that cutting back on portion size is key. Drinking water is also one of the most important things you can do. Make sure you are getting at least 64 oz. a day of water. I have cut portion size, and eating like 6 times a day. I try to stick with 2 proteins, 3 veggies, 3 fruits, 2 starches, 1 fat. When eating Subway, are you ordering w/o cheese, mayo, or extra sauces? And you may want to take a piece of bread off. Good luck! Losing weight is a bitch, but I have been so much happier with myself these last three weeks. Lost 9 pounds so far!

I used to weigh 17 stone. I tried lots of diets but never losts much. then a friend of mine gave me the number of a life coach. She was friendly ad helped me to set gaols and taught me how to achieve them.
I am now 10 stone (and a size 10!) and have never been happier.

Thats why I wanted to share her service with you all as I know how hard dieting can be but there is hope at the end of the tunnel.

If you are interested her email address is :shelleymc82@hotmail.com

She offers a free taster session so if you don't like it you have nothing to lose.
