ive never joined LAWL but i was wondering going over some of the posts here........ i dont think i would join it, diets should be healthy, and i cant see drinking coke. or eating white bread healthy
diet coke at that . but then im not going to get into the horrid effects of aspertane and all them nasty nasty sugar subs. even worse for you then the white more addictive the heroin white stuff we call sugar.
although newbie 2 seems to have a much healthier diet...
just a question how much was it to join, and whats involved in this programm.
i live in northern ontario Canada and we dont have any LAWL's around here, i have heard some but very little about it.

If you're getting results with LA Weight Loss and you're happy, then it's not my place to discourage you. For others that are curious about the organization and their operation methods, I suggest you go to Rip Off Report and do a search for LA Weight Loss. The above link takes you to the results page. You'll get an eye-opening look at their fradulent and deceptive methods of operations, posted by former employees and customers that have been abused.

Talking Happy with my LA weightloss

Hello,

I started the program on Sept.13, 2005. So far I have lost 3.3lbs, doesn't sound like alot, but for me it is success. I have been on numerous diet programs and trust me ,paid for them all one way or another. Just in the last 10 years I have spent thousands on diet programs. If I had to average it then I would have to say $800 a year. I personally do not think one program is better than the other. Most importantly finding one that suits your lifestyle. Diet is a naughty four letter word.LOL I am 5'1" and now 143.3. I have been on a plateau for 2 years. As with all companies they all have some pitfalls and problems that need to be worked out. And truthfully this is the only major diet on the market I have not tried. Things have changed alot since they first began. I have seen many successful weightloss clients come into my salon. Of course people tell you everything when they sit in your chair.LOL But at our particular center, the councelors are great. No pressure what so ever. I did not buy the bars until today. Yes the contract says "no refunds" if you do not use the bars. But I completely understood that, the bars were my choice, no pressure. And personally they do make a difference. And they are delicious, all of them. I get a treat twice a day!!! I am not campaigning for them , just letting people know I do not regret my choice. And that great one on one sessions 3 time a week cannot be beat. I am paid up for one whole year with nothing to buy again. Good luck to all with whatever program you choose just find one that is made for you.

Fat Loss Basics
Want to burn fat faster than a speeding jackrabbit?

Then follow these tips! No matter what kind of quick weight loss method you're using, most or all of these fundamentals should come into play...

Exercise

1.)Perform some form of resistance training 3-4 times per week (about 45 minutes per session)
2.)Perform moderate to high intensity cardio (aerobic) exercise 2-3 times per week (at least 20 minutes per session)
3.)If you can, do your cardio first thing in the morning on an empty stomach to burn more fat

Diet

1.)Eat 5-6 well-balanced meals/snacks per day .
2.)Each meal should be roughly 30% fat, 30% protein, and 40% carbs .
3.)Eat the right kinds of foods: lean meats, eggs, protein shakes, cottage cheese, yogurt, nuts, seeds, olive & flax oil, salmon, tuna, vegetables, fruit, oatmeal, brown rice, beans, whole-grain breads and pasta .
4.)Drink between a half and a full gallon of water each day
Have a "cheat meal" once per week where you can eat anything you like .

Supplements

1.)Use a high-quality multi-nutrient formula every day
2.)Use whey protein powder to increase your lean protein intake, stabilize blood sugar, and increase metabolism
3.)Take an L-Glutamine supplement (to help keep lean muscle tissue while dropping fat) once or twice per day
4.)Take an Essential Fatty Acid supplement like Flax Seed Oil every day
5.)If you tolerate them well, use herbal fat burners to help speed up fat loss

Obviously, this all can seem a bit overwhelming at first. That's especially true if you've never followed an intense weight loss program before. Keep try your best to reach your goal.

Take care and meet you again with more stuff for weight loss.

With regards,
Haja Sherief

I'm so glad I found you guys! I'm in week 14 of LAWL. I've lost 24.4 pounds so far and still have 35.6 to go. It's been great so far (especially considering the cost!)

The acountability has really helped me stay on track. It's been slowing down a little lately, but I've been really stressed.

Does anybody have any neat secrets to share?

Have you tried microwaving the chocolate la lites? They taste like a brownie and if you add a little fat free cool whip, its like a sundae.

If you would like to email me: chris_bott@msn.com

How much is it? (LAWL)

Good morning, I'm new here...and have been researching info on LAWL because I'm so close to going to a centre to check it out. I'm reading so many pro's and con's with respect to the money involved as well as a few other things like you don't get to see the menu until you've signed up for the program (not sure if this is true).

I'm interested in any more tidbits that you have to share.

Thank you

From my experience, you do NOT need to buy the food or bars. The program does work very well on its own merits, and the food does help, but is definately not needed. The counsellors do a good job, depending on which store you go to, and it helps that they keep and update your file with each visit.

Hi. I just joined and saw your post. I was wondering how things were going on the la diet? Do you like it? Are you losing? I'm just nervous about all the money and the chance of failing.

You can email me at jcbutterfly23@yahoo.com
