I'm 19 years old 5'2 and for the past 3 years I haven't been under 140 pounds. I'm currently at 147. For my height this isn't extremely overweight. But it is overweight. I've made half hearted attempts at dieting but i never stuck to it. Now i really want to buckle down and loose the weight. Because you only have one life to live and why live it unhappy with your body when you can do something about it. Yes it might take a few months. But if i don't do it now I'll still be unhappy in the months to come and wish i actually started loosing weight. I'm looking to loose 10+ pounds. Honestly I'm looking to feel attractive, healthy and beautiful for the first time in my life. I need this confidence.

I'm just looking for tips, advice, support and new friends! If you're there for me I'll be there for you.

Hello!

Yes, I agree, one life to live. I need all the help I can get. At 147, I'd be one lean mean machine. As it is, I'm 5-6 and pushing 212. So you see how far I have to go.

hey.. well first of all i'd like to commend u all for even taking a step towards a better you. It takes a real love for urself to admit there is a problem, get a plan and execute it. I am a singer/songwriter that u guys may have heard of before.. and they always trying to make you think thin is in, however beauty is only skin deep. im 5 ft and weigh 138 lbs currently .. im not fat but im still over weight according to certain charts. however people look at me and say girl u look fabulous.. but sometimes to me im like " yeah right" but then i realized.. I do look fabulous. Im smart, successful, headstrong and have a desire to progress in anything that I do.. how much more fabulous would i want to be... Realize you have to look inside yourself,figure out what it is that you want and visualize yourself being just the way you want to be. Everyday affirm ***I am my ideal weight and I love the way I look.** when u look in the mirror see yourself smiling and happy because you have achieved your success. If its thinner, see yourself in the mirror
** lbs. thinner. the more u see it mentally you will attract the success u long for. but if u keep saying it's so hard for me to lose these last 10 lbs what do you think is going to happen.. u will never lose them because you tell your subconious mind that you CAN'T. alot of this stuff is a mind thing. and if we run to the fridge everytime our mind tells us to, what do we expect will happen. we cant let our minds control what we do. we have to control it. Even though im in the industry claims we should look like rthis and that, we ALL battle with weight at some point or another. this is actually the heaviest i've ever been besides beign pregnant with my son. i used to be real tiny but i never want to be that small again either. i think 125 would be cool for me. HOWEVER my weight hasnt stoped me from being successful.. Im still on top of the world caue " I SEE MYSELF on top " So i excersice more now, and i eat less cause i didnt realize it wasnt what i was eating but rather how much of it i was consuming that was killing me. You wont believe what Beyonce eats to maintain her flawless figure but as you can all see.. it still goes to her hips. well the bottom line is it takes patience, persistance and consitance = resistance.
i commend all of you for taking the 1st stepping in accepting u need to shed a few lbs but most important "Feel good a bout yourself" no matter what people say YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.. and only U can make yourself Unpretty. I love you all but most of all Please " Love Yourself".
and congrats on taking the steps towards a new healtier and beautiful YOU!!
