New.
So I finally motivated myself after over a year of blaming it on baby weight to lose the endless pounds I'm gaining. Hopefully I can do this. Me and my husband have horrible sweet tooths so the entire house has to be emptied of the horrible food. And I need to set an exact goal.
At the moment I weight 268. I'm 5'7" so the pain is horrible on my back and legs. And I have a pear shaped body which means my top is about a size 18/20 and my bottom is pushing into a 24/26. It's fine if you can copy with a giant butt. But, I can't.
I'm hoping to get back into where I was at for a brief moment in time before my pregnancy...a size 13. That was the smallest I'd ever been in my life since I was around 10.
So I'd say I'm looking at a terrifying 80-90 pounds if not more. Which if I can stay motivated will be fine. My body really isn't meant to be as large as it is now. It's painful, drains my energy and my emotions are a roller coaster because of it. *sigh*
I live in an apartment complex with a fitness center which for the first week I hit so hard I injuried my back and I'm just now healing. So hopefully I can start off slow and encorporate some dieting into it. I have limited support with this unfortunately because my husband is....how do you word it in a way that doesn't make me want to cry......well....he's a chubby chaser. It makes me want to smack him. Lol. But, if he wasn't that way I wouldn't have met him and fallen in love.
*more sighs* Maybe I can finally make this happen. I'm hoping.
Hopefully I'll start to make some success. Tonight I ate half a pack of Cherry Cordials.....lol.....I blamed all my weight on my baby. But i only had a 5 months pregnancy before miscarriage. So...I really gained maybe 10 pounds at the most. The other like 65 were all me. As far as eating healthy goes I try...We eat low fat this and turkey and chicken everything. But, there is always a cake...or candy....or something my husband picks up at the store for snacking on! I've thought about surgery, or pills...but I'm trying to motivate myself to just do it naturally. I figure that will be the most healthy for my body. And hopefully the best emotionally. So far I've taken little steps. We moved to the third floor just to make sure I have to at least exercise when I go to check the mail. I've yet to know why but I'm sooooooo lazy. Which is odd because I'm pretty sure I'm always bored. I just have to find something to do other than eating everytime I have no clue what to do. I usually attempt to walk over to the fitness center but I practically run out screaming when some skinny, beautiful person walks in and bench presses as much as I weigh. Haha...I guess the running is some great exercise.

don't give up. and i will tell you that the worlds most horrible thing is losing a child. whether it be with miscarriage or other ways. (i know, because i lost my daughter when she was 6 weeks old). my sis had 2 miscarriages, and after each of those, she gained alot of weight afterwards. with her, i know she was hurting, but would always say that she wasn't, and that it didn't affect her. well, i know it did, because she turned to food as her comfort. i go through the same "sweet tooth" problems that you go through. its harder for me to just get rid of all the sweets in the house, because i have 4 boys that get their snack every night. and with halloween just a week ago, we still have lots of that candy in the house......(chocolate is my downfall). and let me tell you, you have it even harder with having, as you put it, a chubby chaser husband. because he isn't going to give you the support that you need. my suggestion is this........if you want the sweets, by the sugar/fat free kind. and limit them to one actual serving, measure it. and only have 1 serving a day. and then as time goes by and your eating that 1 serving a day, cut back again if you feel you can. 1 serving every other day. believe me, it does help. i'm at a bad time in my dieting right now where its getting hard for me. just keep your chin up, and don't let that skinny person run you out of the gym. if that person comes in while you are working out, look at them and wonder what you'll look like that skinny, and know that all the working out and eating right that you are doing will get you to where you do look like that. and don't let hubby discourage you. you can do it, we all can. good luck

Dont give up, thats called determination, Myself was 17 stone, 5"11 at 15yo, I have got myself down to 16/16,2 and I can see a big difference, this is in a 3-5 week span
Aswell sorry to hear about the miscarraige, I have many relatives who have had this, It's very sad
I mainly eat or drink water all day, Bowl of cereal for breakfast, 3 eggs for lunch with maybe olives or if you dont like them, some green veggies, il have some grapes for meal 3, meal 4 which is dinner it will vary from chicken to salmon to makeral etc but with all veggies i.e. parsnips etc
Excersie which is SO hard for me and everyone which is effective is called cardio, I do cardio 6 times and week (very hard) which is mainly 20-30 minutes on the bike around about 4pm, after tea maybe 7-9 I will go n my treadmill with a little hilt for 35-40 minutes fast walking/running, atm I've topped it up more so Il do..
7 Minute FW (fast walk)
3 Minute R (run)
2 Minute FW
3 Minute R
2 Minute FW
3 Minute R
etc
This actually gets me motivated alot, Your not running all the time at the same speed, your taking turns, this makes me want to run to make me walk again, then the walk makes me less tired, then run again, also listen to some possitive music, not classical, but maybe some Hiphopm I listen to Will Smith ATM, new and old songs, gets you going
As I said, cardio is SO hard, it's very tempting to press that stop button, but you have to keep going, my run is a fast jog, not a fast run, bare that in mind
If you want any help, and no I wont ask money or anything, this is from trial and error, im willing to help with anyone of these forums
My email is Sammyeltawil@hotmail.com , This is my MSN aswell, as Im from the UK it's a 5-6 hour difference so il be on around about 2-6PM your time
Hope this help
