hi everyone!!well-i am trying to loose at least 20 pounds. once i get to 145 and loose that last 20 pounds...i would of lost 100 pounds of myself since Oct.18th of 2006. i was in bad health and heading for worse.i was in alot of pain from arthritis and pre-diabetic and hbp and also on lipitor.the dr. put me on a diet of no salt,no sugar and low fat.and to walk 30 minutes every day of the week.the weight started dropping off. of course. i have been doing other things. like i went vegan(cause i wanted off of lipitor)and it helped to not use eggs and meat and margarine.so now i am doing slimfast. i have done alot of different dieting ideas out of boredom and last week i did the cabbage soup diet.this week slimfast.i started the 10,000 steps program and that is my daily goal -to walk 5 miles. in the past when i was so ill,i could barley get down the steps at our house.now i walk 5 miles or that is my daily aim.i also work out to richard simmons.so there it is...i was a sz 24(3x) and this last week i fit into a size 14 pants...of course-they are smugish.but i like them cause i have to suck in my tummy,in the hopes of creating tummy muscles...that were not used in yrs. so just wanted to introduce myself and good luck in dieting.it makes u feel way better.rae-dean
