Hello, I am a newbie here and would you believe I paid for weightloss 4 idiots today, and can't even access the website? You know how it is, when you are ready to make a change and everything seems to fall through. I am trying to be patient and hopefully they are working to correct some technical problems.

Anyway anyone out there trying this "Weightloss 4 Idiots", way of eating, and how is it working?

Thanks,
Debbie

Hey,

I bought the weight loss for idiots program and I have had a few of you asking some questions about it. My apologies for not replying sooner - have had a real lot on my plate (pardon the pun, not food!) with work committments etc. I didn't have any trouble logging on the website and have access to the program. In a nutshell this program has actually worked very well but there are parts of the program that leaves things up to oneself. eg doesn't say anything about potatoes as we all know they are high in carbs - so i just made a judgment on that one. Ypou have 4 meals a day at any time you choose, however i have found it a little hard to eat just nuts or cottage cheese for a meal. BUT they are the foods i chose. This program also has a vegetarian menu to choose from as well. I have done this program for just over a month and i did lose weight faster than anything else I have tried. However I am finding it difficult to keep up with this style of eating plan, so have a combination of the weightloss 4 idiots plan as well as the CSIRO diet as my maintenance plan.

Hey Nicky I did get on the site after downloading an update needed. I am starting today and I have about 15 pounds to lose. It looks pretty easy to follow. I hate it when a diet calls for items you don't normally buy.

Thanks for your reply.

Exclamation

This is my 6th day to be on this diet and I have lost 7lbs. I do realize Thanksgiving will throw me off, but that is ok. I am starting off with 7 less lbs. than I would have. I plan to get right back on this after the holiday. The meals have really left me satisfied, and losing. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hi Debbie,

Congratualtions it sounds as though your diet is really working for you! If you don't mind, may I ask why you want to lose weight?
I have recently divorced from my husband and since then I have promised myself that I would try to loose as much weight as possible - I just don't know where to start. I have always been heavy and I am affraid of the response I may get from people if I start to diet. I often eat out with friends and from past experience, sticking to a diet when at a restaurant is extremely difficult.

Any words of advise or support would be deeply appreciated.

Thanx Bubbles

Hey Bubbles,

I am trying to lose some weight I have put on in the last 3 years. It seems now that my 3 boys are older, and they aren't involved in any organized sports I am not nearly as active as in the past. I have gone from a size 8 to a 12. I would like to lose a total of about 15-20 lbs. After losing 9 in a week I feel this diet will work for me. I did however put most of that back on during the Thanksgiving feast. It didn't really bother me though since it came off so easy the days before. I did get back on the program yesterday and am anticipating great results in the days to come.

Hi Debbie,

Sooooo....how's it been going sice turkey day? Did you acheive the results you were hoping for?
I have been terrible lately, I seem to do so well during the day but then when I am sat at home on my own in the evening I just can't help myself. I've tried all sorts. I've banished all sugar from my house, but still I manage to find something to nibble on! I did think that may be I eat through bordem, but I have nothing I want to do in the evenings instead.
I sometimes wish I had a little angel to sit on my shoulder, so that she could shout and me and tell me no when I get the cravings!

How do you stay so strong when I am so weak - what is your secret?!

Later,

Bubbles

Bubbles, are you drinking alot of water? When you're at home, are you staying active or just sitting around? If you're not drinking enough water to stay feeling "full" and you are inactive, you are going to have a harder time to keep the cravings away. Are you getting enough food throughout the day?
