Not a veggie eater...

I have a huge problem...I hate most veggies.

I am 24 and used to be able to eat whatever I wanted...I practically lived off of Dr. Pepper, bread and cereal. I am 5'8 and weighed aprox 120 lbs until I was around 21 years old. Now I am at 136. I know it's still a healthy weight, but I would love to be in the 120s again.

I'm trying hard to diet, I've cut out soda completely! But I don't like veggies and I don't like fish either. Are any of you struggling on your diet because you don't like veggies? I need help!

Thanks!

Are you taking any supplements by any chance? You could take fish oil or flax seed extract to help out with your essential fatty acids (E.F.A's) if you don't like fish.

I'm not a big fan of veggies either, but i do like some Do you like any?

Well, not really. I mean I like corn, but that doesn't do me much good. I sort of like snow peas and peppers, but nothing else. I really try to like stuff, but I just don't.

I am taking a vitamin now so hopefully that will get me the nutrients I need, but it still doesn't help me with dieting.

My answer would be to hide the veggies like I do for my kids.

If you like tomato type pasta sauce make it with a couple of cans of tomatoes and whizz it together with onions, carrots, red (bell) peppers and you can't tell the difference (at least they can't it seems ). Also I can get veggies past them if they are pureed in a soup or mixed together with mashed potato (e.g. pureed carrot or turnip). Blenders are wonderful things!
