Question
I've heard it mentioned quite a bit that you're supposed to burn off the same amount of calories you take in every day or more if you're going to loose weight. Well if you walk a mile you loose 100 calories.. a mile is quite far, if you run it you loose 120, and that's alot harder.. So my question is walking isn't ideal to loose weight right?

Walking is a good workout, but only if you do it long enough. You can take a longer route and combine it with some other exercise. Maybe you can do some heavy lifting before

It's nice, but not really efficient if you're looking for cals burned per hour put into it. Try something like an elliptical machine that really works different parts of your body. It's easier than running, because a lot of muscle groups share in the stress, but burns a ton of cals if you work hard at it!

If you are worry about your walking exercise, add some other cardio liek running or something. Or if you wanna move your whole body, dancing in the gym can burn a lot of calories
