Found this forum today and have been reading through some of the messages. Sounds like a good group of people here and I will need some encouragement from time to time. I've decided to keep a food diary as I used to do when on weight watchers and count my points.
I have found it extremely difficult to lose weight even with eating properly and exercising regularly..I have a slow metabalism due to an underactive thyroid. I had been working out at an exercise studio for approx. 10 months at least 5 days a week doing everything from step classes to aerobics and strength training with resistance bands and free weights..but no weight loss. Felt soo much better, stronger and more energy but some weight loss might have been nice!! LOL
Now I have joined the local YMCA and vary my workouts between swimming, squash, and the personal fitness equipment..and as I mentioned earlier will give the points food diary a go again...but am really up for some other suggestions??
so jump right in...I need all the help I can get
