Toning after weight loss.
Hi,
My wife has recently lost over 4 stones in about 4 months and looks great, however the dramatic reduction in her size has left her thighs and underarms 'saggy'. We have both joined a gym and she goes at least 4 times a week now that she has finished her strict diet.(She still plans to lose another 3stone, but gradually now, by calorie counting).
I just wondered if anyone had some tips as to how she can tighten up the loose and saggy areas, or will these tighten naturally.
Whenever I look at before and after photos in the diet ads, they don't seem to suffer from sagginess??!!
This aspect of her diet has been a bit of a downer for her. She looks and feels great, but is very conscious of her wobbly bits.
I hope there is an answer.
Thanks

The sagginess is simply lose skin from losing so much weight in short amount of time. There are creams and stuff that help that- im not sure because my ex girlfriend had the same thing. But in some cases surgery is needed. Probably it should firm up with some exercise using free weights, etc. But Im not a professional, so I would reccomend she she a Dr. and ask him about it.

Sammy - she joined 'Lighter Life' . An abstinence programme, where she drank loads of water and had 2 or 3 shakes a day. It certainly works, dramatic visible results within a week. And like I said, she easily lost 1 stone a month. It was, however, difficult to drink the required amoiunt of water - 4+ litres per day - she was forever on the bog!!!!! And by the end of it she was desperate for some 'tasty' food. Lighter Life are supposed to council people to want food less, but didn't work for my wife, she found the 'counselling' crap.
4x4 Babe. We english people still weigh ourselves in stones and pounds, not just pounds or kilos. A stone is 14 pounds, so for your info, Ali has lost over 56 pounds in less than 4 months.
Thanks vasinger, but I don't think I will be able to persuade her to go under the knife!!!!!!!!
