Im new here aswell and im really trying to lose weight .. im not overweight at all just trying to shifta couple of lbs here and there for the summer! you know yourself ... the prob is im a veggie .. i could eat meat but it just makes me sick (headwrecking) so am hoping to find maybe a veg or fruit based diet that will help

Im no vegetarian, but 90% of my diet consists of fruit, veg and natural products made herbally.
I advise to get lots of protein in your diet and as much colour as possible too. I usually snack 2-3 times a day on fruit and veg as well as 3 meals and still lose weight, so it works well.
Don't forget to get your water intake upto the 2 litre mark. If you are drinking water a lot anyhow make sure you are not retaining the water. If you are then you need to drink more to flush your system out.
I don't care what anybody tells you water is the most important part of any diet.
