I stopped drinking coke....

I just started doing Atkins a couple days ago.........I was a very heavy Coke drinker roughly 6-8 glasses a day. Now I've NEVER been able to giveup my soda before but I'm soooooo tired of the extra weight. Anyhow, starting 4-22 I have had only 1 glass of diet soda!!! I average 6-8 glasses of water a day (before now I prob. only had the much in the last year ) but I tell you I feel WONDERFUL I have so much more energy! I rarely feel sleepy, bloated, irritated, you name it! I already have noticed a change in my midsection and it's only the 3rd day!!!!!

Smile Hi!

Hi! My hubby is a diabetic and was supposed to switch from regular soda to no soda, but did diet. I finally have followed suit. I have not really noticed much of a loss yet, but when I go back to regular soda, I start to gain a bit. If you look at it calorie wise, you would see where reg sodas have anywhere from 120 to 170 calories and thats a bunch gone if you just cut it. Good luck!

hi cola
i have always been a heavy coke drinker and i use to go through a 12 of coke a day. My oldest daughter can go through a 24 of pop a day. My hubby drinks on average a 12 or more of diet caffience free pop a day.

i have stoped drinking pop and i have noticed im not as bloated. my youngest daughter drinks water and fruit juice (HOME MADE) and she has never been healthier, so she may on the right track. its funny, sometimes the smallest things are the ones that are makng us gain. I find that if i drink too much water i begin to gain as well.

Drinking water instead of cola would be a lot better. If you make a habit of drinking more water then you will start feeling like drinking more of water than coke.
