Check out Body Trends, Autumn. They claim that "the Accu-Measure 2000 were within 1.1 percentage points of underwater weighing results". Lot's of good information on the site about using calipers and measuring body fat. Less than $20 for a set - how can you go wrong!

I was hesitant to write this, I am worried that people will not believe me, but here goes: I am about 200 pounds overweight so I am sure that the speed of the beginning of my weightloss is a factor. I have tried every diet you could possibly think of. I stumbled on weightloss for idiots by accident. I liked the fact that I could pick out some foods, and someone told me how to eat them, also I have my 3 "cheat" days to look forward to. Here comes the hard part to believe, I am on day 9, on day 7 I decided to weigh and I lost 19lbs from the day I started. I am staying on this and not going to weigh again till another week. I was wondering if anyone else has had this rapid weightloss?

Those of us on WL4I certainly do believe u - it depends how u feel healthwise.
This diet is meant for speedy weight loss and has all food groups and nutrition in it so your not lacking anything essential I dont think (no doubt others will disagree here!)
Plus you shouldnt ever be starving so just enjoy the weight loss - but it's good to take viatmins as we all should anyway.
well done and good luck!!

[i][b][color=green] alright, well i joined the diet and started monday,
so far so good but let me tell you i was a wreck the first couple of days. craving and going through some serious withdrawls. sugar/coffee.
you can have coffee on this diet, just not sugar , and i hate coffee without real sugar <_< . so it was hell. i got my kids cold lastnight so im alittle rough feeling today, but the diet part is going fine. i do feel totaly satisfied with the meals................. i did cave and had a peice of chocolate i know im pathetic and weak, lol but i will make sure not to fall off again.
still getting to know the menu's and learning how to cook diffrent things. no i dont find it lacks anything. maybe alittle lacking in the milk department for some, but im lactos int. so for me it doesnt matter. lol

i havent lost no 19 pounds!! congrades on that!!
and i know i already lost my water weight before joining wl4i, so i have lost 3.5 pounds and im half way through day 4.
i need to get backinto exercising tho, i havent had time, or the energy this week to do anything but 2 walks <_< .
so i will keep you up to date on how this is going for me. I think its a very healthy diet that teaches you a healthy way of eating, they do offer an aftercare program, for after you lose your weight, and i think it is just common sense. its great.
but remember Print it all out before your 90 days is up!
Love & Light
~Autumn

Thanks Brian ill go check that out right now

That's a shame about the chocolate - the whole idea of the diet isnt to cheat till the '3 cheat' days??!! If you have such bad results thru missing coffee surely it's better to try with sugar free syrups or sweeteners rather than blow the whole thing? It's not a good advert for the diet because it makes it look difficult!
If you are serious about this diet and want it to work you have to reslove to not cheat due to 'withdrawal' symptoms - thats just an excuse we fatties use to make for falling off the wagon. You eat till your full so there is no starving invloved so no excuses!

[i]ummm sheesh, chill out??!!
thanks but i dont need you to remind me about the cheat days and not cheating <_< it was the best thing i did since i had that little bite of chocolate i felt much better, it got me over the hump. and 3 days later, i have lost 9 lbs.
a diet is a diet, but if im feeling sick due to withdrawls or maybe i needed a calorie fix,<i am a breast feeding mother> then ill take it. i knew it was bad, and it was my choice, i dont regret it at all. it kinda gave me more drive believe it or not.
Im not one for artificial shit, i dont need aspertan poinsoning or anything like that, in my house we try to stick to as natural as we can, and i think putting a syrup into a coffee, is kinda the opposite direction then where i wanna go.
I dont recall making an excuse, i said i was weak. so wtf?!
maybe read before you type?
oh wait maybe just dont type :P
i hate when people have that "O-Holy'er then tho" attitude. at lest im honest enough to admit i cheated, willing alot of people wouldnt.
And the diet can be difficult in the first week, this much i know and almost everyone i have talked to say's the same.

Your right - I would bet there isn't one person who didn't cheat one day. You have been honest about it - a good thing. I have cheated to so I guess I to can be accused of making the diet look difficult! Keep going big mama!!!

Oooh, I think I touched a raw nerve there!!! Get real - chocolate and processed coffee are not natural (unless you grow your own coffee beans to grind!)
People who eat very healthily - like u ascertain you do - dont normally need to lose weight.
And yes everyone cheats but mostly it's us fatties who got as big as we are thru over eating the wrong foods and will always find solace in a choccie bar!
Good luck with your diet.

ok i said we try to keep it as natural as we can, i was pointing to the aritifical sweetners and such, i have kids that can only have organic and all natural stuff, so we keep our house free of most crap, the chocolate bar i shared with my kids was in the freezer, my hubby is a choco holic and always keeps a stash, sadly i found it . I normaly dont make coffee at home, my hubby brings me and extra large everynight on his way home from work. I need to lose weight because i have have had 5 kids in a short period of time, and had a sever hormone problem after i came into remission. And because i only eat like 1 time a day, 2 times if i can find the time. dont assume you know everything k?
and yes you did hit a nerve, but it was your attitude you came across with that i found offensive, and judgments always piss me off.
Just to clear the air, i love this diet, never said it wasnt good, i said the first few days can be hard, and its true they can!
im not really an emotional eater, so i dont find anything in a chocolate bar except the sugar rush i was so needing.
thanks for the good wishes on the diet! im down 10.5 lbs this am and feeling great.
Autumn

Jeeplaw i think we are still on topic, just it kinda turned personal. sorry but i had to clear the air here~ Im done now
