WTG Carrie! I think I am going to try WLFI. I have a friend at work who says she will probably try it with me. I recently contacted a consumer reporter a local news station and asked them if they would be interested in doing a story on this diet. Asked if maybe they would find some volunteers to try it out and report their results. The reporter said he is very interested in the idea and may do a story on it. I know, I'm a geek. But I think it would be interesting. I will let you know if I subscribe to WLFI and post back with my results. I must approach the weight loss thing as Special Agent Sydney Bristow would do. Gather all the intel, then go at it, fists swinging. I KNOW!! I'm a geek. LOL!!!

Hey, I just started the diet yesterday and unfortunately I'm a poor student and I don't have a scale at my apartment. I think I will go and buy one soon though. I tried to plan the day that I start so that on Easter Sunday I can start my 3 days of cheating. IWhile on the diet, 've noticed that I have not been craving sweets or carbs, which is really odd for me b/c I'm a carb/sweet addict. But, this diet reminds me of a high protein/low carb diet. I basically eat Eggs, Tuna (no bread), Egg Salad (no bread) and Ham. While eating lunch today ( Eggs), I was thinking about quitting. But, I'll stick it out. It would be really nice to lose 9 lbs by Easter.
So, I'm going to keep at it. I having the hardest time drinking all the water. I guess I'm just used to having flavored drinks.

Hi LawGirl
That was smart thinking with the planning of the diet around the holiday. Stick with it!

I am now on Day 2 of my second 11 day cycle of the WL4I diet. I have lost 10lbs so far. I was on WW, losing about 1 to 2 pounds per week. I am not sure what chefbrian is saying about the water loss because I was already dieting before I started WL4I.
I have said it before, and I will say it again... if it works for you, stick with it!
The one thing I thought with this diet was that you might lose the 9lbs in the 11 days, but then gain half of it back during you 3 "free" days. I only gained back 2 out of 12 pounds. How about everyone else?

I don't think that anyone should have to pay money for diets. Especially when most of them are nothing but a fad. It makes me sick when I think how much money I have spent on diet pills, drinks, powders, infomercials, equipment, tapes, DVDs - and for what? With the money I spent I could have joined Jenny Craig 20 times by now. Check out http://home.earthlink.net/~the-fat-race

HAPPY DIETER,
I am almost done with my first 11 days and I just wanted to ask you if you really ate whatever you wanted to on your three days off. I'm afraid that I'm going to gain weight back. Also I too was on another diet before this one so I know the weight I have lost is not water weight. I'll let everyone know how much weight I have lost at the end of the cycle. As I have seen, it takes a couple days to see more pounds dropped. I didn't see any weight lost until the fifth day, and then it started going quickly. I think this diet will work for anyone who will stick to eat.

I am about to begin my first 3 Free days, and from what I have read on other sites, is to eat what you want, but don't pig out, keep with the 4 meals a day and drinking the water.
Any diet will work if you keep it up, you don't have to pay for any diet, just go to the library and do research. I chose the WL4I diet, because I know I have wasted a lot more than that on junk.
This diet is more a moderate protein, low fat, low carb. The choices are healthy and I have learned to be creative with food than before. I have also discovered that I don't want as much as before.
I have lost faith with the AMA and the like with respect to their "pyramid" seeing as they have been proved wrong time and again.
Like I said, it is a healthy diet
