Most of the common problems are these two. You overtraining and never eat enough protein, ended up with stress and more health problems. Or you don't exercise enough and you can't avoid the junk foods
For most of my life I have been very lucky with my weight staying within the range for my height. However, now that I am over 50 and experiencing a woman's change in life I have put on a few pounds and most of it around the middle.
I have been trying to lose 15-20 pounds for quite some time. And yes, I know that a healthy well-balanced diet and exercise are the way to go.
I am here to learn all I can from those who have been there...done that.
My biggest problem seems to be figuring out the right amounts of protein, fats and carbs I need to take in to lose the weight.
