Can I lose fast by eating like this?

I know that what I'm going to be eating may not be healthy for my body...but I'm honestly just tired of being fat. I have already lost 10 pounds by just starving which is extremely unhealthy and I feel disgusted by doing it. So I was wondering if I eat the following will I still lose weight fast? I will more than likely be eating small portions of them too. Again I am aware that the proper way is with exercise and portion control, but i want to do it this way. Has anyone tried a similar diet? What were your results in doing so? Thanks! By the way I want to lose about 25-30 more pounds.

-Oranges
-Apples
-Cherries
-Celery
-Rice

You need to Eat correctly

Twistedtracy,

Any thing doing at all is worth doing correctly.. Right, you may lose a few pounds yet, but you will hit a "wall" soon or a "plateau" your calories are not high enough and all the calories that you are taking in consist mainly of Carbohydrates (simple carbohydrates for that matter) where is the protein? and the fats? you need to eat a healthy well balanced diet in order to reach your goals correctly... With a diet like this you will lose allot of your existing muscle mass your skin will age your hair will eventually thin as a result. you need to eat about 3/4 to 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight no more then about 150-200 grams of carbohydrate's per day and you need to calorie shift and carbohydrate load as well.you should probably not exceed 1300 calories and work out 3 or 4 days per week. If you follow this advice you will lose about 2-3 pounds per week until you reach your goal. Remember gaining weight is eraser then losing weight but the rewards are much greater especially as you get older

Thank You
