To drink

Hi all

I'm realising more and more that sugary drinks and alcohol are the main addictions I have which cause me to put on weight and wonder what ways and alternatives I should try. I'm not a big fan of tea or coffee and squash is often preyy bland. I don't like diet soft frinks, but I think they're just as bad healthwise. What would anyone reccomend?

Cheers,

Jimmy

True Lemon is a great alternative. It has no sugars, and it comes in an easy to use packet..

It's great to just add to water or iced tea

I know it is not what you want to hear, but WATER! It is hard to create the habit, but once you get your body used to the large quantities that it needs, it will start craving it, and it will make alcohol and sugary drinks become yukky to you.

Carbonated items rob from your bones, it is not a fun bit of information to learn, but please try to avoid them.

Excellent piece of information. I believe that water is the best thing to drink, and drink lots of it.

If you can keep the drinking to once or twice a day per week, usually for the weekends, and drink water the rest of the week you should be good to go. This is what I do since I'm attending college right now, and it works great.
