My friends docter told her that if she's craving sweets, eat a few pickles. Supposedly it's suppose to curb your sweet craving. I haven't tried it out, as I dont' relly grave sweets, but I do know that a nice, juicy pickle is good when you're hungry.

Sweet Pickles?

Wow Jess - I have never heard that before. I certainly do crave sweets and I am definitely going to try that one.

Thanks for the tip!

eee...neee...That doesn't work for me! may be because I'm too much into SWEETS I suggest to post here our HEALTHY DESERT RECIPES.What do you think?
my first one!
CHOCOLATE PUDDING
2 cups coconut meat

3/4 cup coconut water (I take plain water)

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/3 cup agave nectar

1/2 cup raw cocoa powder

2 tb.sp. vanilla extract

1/4 t.sp. sea-salt.

Puree all the ingredients until completely smooth in a high- speed blender.transfer to bowls and chill for a firmer pudding,or eat it straightaway.Try this with raspberries and fresh mint, or chopped nuts.

It is so delicious! Try it!
I will post my fave one

Hmm I am not sure i could just eat a pickle on its own
It would not taste great at all. I thought pickles were quite high in salt and therefore bad for you?

Hmmm

If i crave sweets i like to munch on baby carrots, sweet but very good for you.

Also, once a month I go to the local produce market, buy about 20 dollars worth of fruit, cut it all up into little cubes, mix it up, bag it up into sandwich sized ziplog baggies. Then its ready for smoothies, one glass of skim milk and about a cup of fruit, and you have instant satisfaction. Plus we get like 15-20 different kinds of fruit in there, so you really get a good variety of vitamins and minerals for a very low caloric price.
