Look, Sandy, I know where you're coming from. You're frustrated and want immediate answers. Are diet pills the answer? You need only look at the site you refered us to. Take Phentermine for example. The manufacturer says that the drug "works best when it is taken in conjunction with diet, exercise and behavior therapy". That's the answer - diet, exercise, and behavior modification. NOT the diet pills part.
Weight loss is supposed to improve your health, not risk it. Diet pills not only mess up your metabolism, but depending on the pills you're taking, they can also raise your blood pressure and heart rate. This in turn increases the risk of heart attack and cardiac arrest. One only needs look at ephedra where at least 155 people are known to have died from taking the stuff. In another case, the FDA received reports of 49 deaths related to sibutramine (Meridia) - an appetite suppressant - between February 1998 and March 2003.
Diet pills just set you up for bigger problems once you stop taking them. Sorry, but if you want permanent, safe weight loss that won't damage your health, forget the diet pills and go with the tried and true method - diet, exercise, and behavior modification. That's the only thing that works. Period.

less side effects
Hi sandy,
I think majority of people are right. Diet pills are the effective and fast way to lose weight. But Only diet pills will not work as diet pills ar appetite supressants and by taking diet pills you will not feel hungry and will not take your food for a long period.
There are some side effects associated with diet pills but if diet pills taken after consulting doctor will not have severe side effects. The best way to lose weigth is to take diet pills and take out some time from your bussy schedule and do some exercise. exercise will burn extra fat from your body and will make you slim. Consult some good doctor to make your diet chart and while you implement all this in your life see the positive results.
Best of luck for your weight loss programme and efforts.

I started drinking a certain kind of additive in my water, it's all natural minerals and calcium. I have lost 9 pounds in 2 weeks. It makes the water wetter somehow, so I absorb it on a cellular level. I was totally thrilled when I stepped on the scale. I hadn't weighed myself in a month. I have been trying to eat healthier, more fruit and veggies, and definitely more water. My friend lost 25 pounds in less than 2 months drinking this additive in her water. We both drink the heck outta water now, I won't be without it!!! We're told that our bodies create fat to hold toxins, because our bodies don't know what else to do with them...so by drinking this "water" we're releasing the toxins and the fat that's holding them. I feel great, and I never go anywhere without my water bottle now.

Hi, first of all drink lots and lots of water, there are even free water calculators based on your weight, and i think you need like 100oz a day, everywhere you see 64oz a day but every one is different, water is good for everything, water is health point blank, so chugg it down all day long ..
ok well if you are willing to spend money LA weightlos works and they give you all this support and stuff, another thing is maybe go on ebay (becareful if you dont know how to buy on there!) and get the gold book from LA weightloss called gold plan or something, thats one healthy option, and replace the LA lites for southbeach diet protein bars, I did this my self and lost crayz weight, i got the diet from my cousin, she weighed like 180 and her goal was 140, she reached her goal in like 5 months and lost some more with this...
ok thats one way, then theres phentermine (perscription medication NOT the herbal one) its pretty expensive without a perscription and it for people who dont have any psychological disorder, including anxiety try 15mg not more, my sister took more and she ended up getting panic attacks which she never had before, she lost 30 lbs in one month, but she stopped. so be careful! then another way is emagrece SIM (not SLIM) well i hear it could be dangerous but i hear it is amazing effective, the way i see it is that if theres no other way for some people (not saying you) its better to take a risk knowing everything about it then ending up with diabetes or high blood pressure or anything in that nature, take care of your self, my sister did all this stuff and know she has diabetes and is having gastric bypass in aug which is sad, enough with the sob stories, be safe about it as well but handle it. if u have the will then do LA weightloss the cheap way without any of theyre pills (thats how my cousin did it) ok well i dont even know you but good luck..

Sandy, I can relate. Dieting is hard enough not to mention try to find the right combo for your body. I am under a doctor's care and I take medication and B12 with Lipotropics. You can read about the B12 with Lipotropics on several web-sites. I use www.mydietsolutions.com. The B12 gives me energy while the Lipotropics help my body to remove the fat. However none of this would work if I didn't cut my calorie intake and increase my exercise. Exercise--ugh. I mostly walk and walk and walk somemore. Anyway do your homework. Good-luck and think thin!

well, diet pills are effective but still they are only for short term durations. exercising and diet, i think, are the best ways to keep healthy and to lose weight at the same time. it will take a little bit of time and of course, you need to be fully determined to go till the end of your schedule

I don't think diet pills are the solution if you don't take that choice yourself! Expecially not the phentermine mentionned in your own link Sandy because in case you didn't know Phentermine is considered as an amphetamine and you may develop an addiction to it. More over phentermine was also a composent of Fen-Phen which is no longer allowed to be sold but ironically you can still get phentermine. I too was like you, I was through with the diets that never worked out or didn't make me lose enough weight. I may have chosen an easier way through liposuction but I did not do it on someone else's advice and not without knowing the risks and consequences. Even after the liposuction it was difficult for me to build new eating habits and I think it's the same for diet pills. You can't depend on them all of your life. You will have to learn new eating habits otherwise you will just take back the weight you lost and depend on the diet pills again and again.

Sandy, I am a firm believer of diet supplements. Especially SlimQuick. I have lost 60lbs and maintained it off in the last two years.
I lost the last 30lbs from taking SlimQuick. It is a diet supplement just for women. It has been very instrumental in my weight loss.
Please keep in mind, that I said instrumental. Diet Pills are not a quick fix. You need to combine it with a proper diet, a good exercise regimen and a realistic weight loss goal.
Remember what works for others, might not work for you. What did not work for others, might actually work for you. So, you have to start this weight loss journey first by understanding where you are today and how you need to get there.
Find out first, what needs to be changed in your existing day to day diet.
Go to Healthatoz.com and pick up a Manager - Fitness or Diet.
Take the BMI Test.
Enter your weight loss target.
Enter your daily food intake. Your workout regimen. And your day to day activities.
The program will tell you where you need to start to get to your weight loss target. And it will create a path for you to actually achieve the goal.
When I started on what I hope is the last diet of my life, this was the tool that helped me lose my first 30lbs.
Good luck. And I really would love for you to drop me a line on my blog as to how this has helped you. The link is below.
