Body Cleanse

I originally lost 20lbs on the South Beach diet and have managed to maintain the weight loss, but I’ve have been stuck on a plateau for about a year. Recently, I’ve been hearing a lot of things on TV lately about how many toxins are in our bodies today from pesticides, flame retardants, heavy minerals from tap water etc… According to some of the material that I’ve read the body stores the toxins in fat cells or tries to dilute them with water retention as a defense mechanism. So I decided to try a body cleanse. This system is supposed to rid the body of toxins and thereby allow the body to function as it should and get rid of the fat cells that are no longer needed to defend against toxins. It is not a diuretic.

I am trying the 30 day program since I have about another 30lbs to lose. They do have a 9 day program as well as a maintenance program to help you keep the weight off since toxins are a part of everyday life. In the first 2 days I lost 5lbs and 5.25in on my waist. By day 10 I had lost a total of 7lbs but continued to lose inches. Granted the pounds aren’t melting off as quickly as I would like but even when I'm not shedding pounds I'm shedding inches! Up to this point I have lost 7in on my waist, 1.5in from the buttocks and 1in around the inner thighs. I’m looking forward to seeing what I look like after 30 days but I do think that I will have to do another 30 days to get to my goal.

I thought I would share information for those of you interested in trying something different. It does work as a meal replacement so the price is about comparable to that of groceries. The website is http://ultimatebodycleanse.isagenix.com/
