Thumbs up My Plan, what worked when I failed.

So, I'll admit, I've tried 'diets' and what I've come to find is...well...here:

a- popping diet pills and eating five turkey sandwhiches a day will not make you lose weight.

b- eating low fat foods and working out may help a little, but for me, it wasnt giving me the results I wanted, it just wasnt motivation enough to stick with it.

c- you MUST compromise.

So. I've tried everything under the sun, diets that make you stick to one thing suck, diet pills alone dont do anything, and working out won't push it far enough to keep you motivated...what now?

Me: sweet tooth, fast food junkie, i <3 healthy food but don't eat correct portions, i give up easily on diets

My resolution, that has made me drop 50 pounds in three months...

Well..im on atkins. SORT OF.
I don't eat bread anymore. (unless I break the diet, which isn't a biggie, it happens about once every two weeks, i eat a doughnut or whatever, and it doesnt break the scale, and i just go back to the diet again.) ok...heres what i do

i eat meat, cheese, veggies, and fruit.
i buy bags of frozen pineapple and strawberries. in the morning, i wake up and toss a few into a bowl and let them thaw while im getting ready for work.
i bring lunch with me to work, and it consists of usually two chicken breasts and some honey mustard for dipping. (SKINLESS CHICKEN. GRILLED.) they have a brand called something like healthy life. its frozen chicken in a big blue bag and its DELICIOUS. lean cut great fully cooked, toss it into the microwave perfection.
for dinner, i eat a few slices of turkey and some cheese, if i get a late night hunger craving, i simply eat more cheese and im fine until the morning.

for sugar cravings at work and the temptation of the vending machine. -bottled water and 10 calorie on the go crystal light pink lemonaid. its sweet and doesnt cause you to undo your whole day.

now. on top of this i have three other things, because we all know dieting alone can sometimes fail, or as i would say, not give me the results i need to keep motivated.

i use alli. it works. i wont lie. it really does. its not one of those get slim quick drugs, it simply helps me stick to the diet and cut down on the fat from the meat. (especially if i swap turkey for bacon one night...or beef.)

I also drink tea every night. and not just any tea (I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS FOR ALL.) It's Triple Leaf Brand "super slimming tea"i can only find it at asian markets, but it works. i wont lie it upset my stomach the first few times i drank it, but, i dropped like 10 pounds the first week i drank the tea, and now it helps me 'cleanse'.

on top of that, i work out. im not a work out freak. i do three times a week for about an hour each time. just a little something to keep me from being lazy.

and thats it. super low carb diet + alli + tea + exercise = slim.

I dont think everyone should try this diet. only if youve failed at everything else. its easy to stick to and it's made me drop weight QUICK, which may not be healthy, even though i feel great. my first week doing this i dropped 10 pounds. also, i dont stick to this long term. i do it for 2-3 weeks, and then keep taking the alli and working out, and eat normal for 2 weeks, then go back to the diet and the tea. i never gain weight when i get off it, but i feel like losing weight is easier in stages. sometimes i need to stop and admire what i've accomplished.

anyway. there it is. my secret. try it. dont try it. whatever, just needed to share.
